A semi fire on Highway 40 near Grovedale had traffic rerouted early Thursday morning.
According to Grande Prairie RCMP, around 5:15 a.m., a semi-hauling combustible material caught fire near Township Road 700 and Range Road 61A. As of 7:30 a.m., officials reported the fire was put out, and traffic had returned to the area, however, RCMP remained on scene.
There were no injuries reported.
