New dock open at Crystal Lake Pier

Just in time for end of the year school trips a new floating programming dock has been installed at the Crystal Lake Pier.

Earlier this spring the previous floating dock was deemed unsafe and was removed. A local contractor has been working quickly since then to design and build a new dock which became water borne Friday.

The dock has been reattached to the existing pier and is re-open as of today. It’s frequently used during the month of June by several schools in the area for education field trips.
