The second annual GrandeCon is just a couple of weeks away, and the line-up for the 2023 event has shaped up to please fans of just about any genre.
Starting with a trio of stars of AMC’s the Walking Dead, Ryan Hurst, Ross Marquand and Michael Cudlitz, guests will also include scream queen Rose McGowan, Canadian wrestling icon Bret ‘Hitman’ Hart, and cosplay superstar Ivy Doomkitty.
Odyssey House President and GrandeCon Lead, Jenna Canavan says the organizing team put a lot of extra time and effort in to make the sophomore edition of the event even grander than the first. She adds with all proceeds going back into the domestic violence prevention network in the region, it’s a great time for a great cause.
“GrandeCon was created by the Odyssey House Board of Directors as an annual inclusive and welcoming fundraiser to support the agencies’ operational costs over and above yearly grant sources. 100 percent of proceeds raised at the event will be used to fund the domestic violence work being done at Odyssey House,” they add.
In addition to the celebrity meet and greets, GrandeCon will also showcases an impressive array of pop culture vendor booths, games, workshops, and cosplay costume contest.
GrandeCon will run from July 14th-July 16th at Bonnetts Energy Centre.
