Swimmers are being reminded that lotion and sunscreen can cause issues in the Aquatera Outdoor Pool. It had to be closed Thursday afternoon due a contamination.
The City of Grande Prairie notes contaminates like sunblock can create bacteria and encourages people to take a shower before entering the pool and not wearing outdoor clothes in the water. The pool reopened for lessons Friday morning.
