One person is facing charges after police in High Prairie seized drugs and cash from a man during a search earlier this month. Police say they received a call of an intoxicated person in a field in High Prairie on July 15th, and following his arrest, a search revealed drugs and drug trafficking paraphernalia on and near the suspect.
Police say the search yielded over 3 ounces of fentanyl, 4 ounces of meth, more than $1,000 in cash, and items which police describe as drug trafficking paraphernalia. Authorities say the total street value of the drugs seized is an estimated $24,000.
