CN to repave two rail crossings in response to residents requests

Residents are advised that CN will begin a repaving project at the rail crossings at 99th Avenue and 100th Avenue this week.

This comes in response to resident requests with consideration for daily commuters in the area.

Officials say the work involves removing the existing surface and repaving, with plans to begin on October 29th, with an anticipated completion date set for the 31st; however, the city says work could take up to three days.

In an effort to reduce the impact on traffic, only one crossing will be worked on at a time, and one-lane traffic will remain open throughout the work zone. Additionally, pedestrian access will be maintained with minimal impact, but drivers could still experience minor delays and are encouraged to plan ahead.
