Power outage affecting some parts of County of GP, 2Day FM temporarily off the air

ATCO has confirmed a power outage is affecting some parts of the County of Grande Prairie.

The outage was confirmed at 1:05 p.m. on November 5th and crews have been assigned to address the issue through an assessment that is already underway.

The cause of the outage was originally reported to be third-party influence; however, crews are still determining the exact cause and scope of the outage, with the hope that power will be restored by 4:30 p.m. on November 5th.

As a result of the outage, 2Day FM has been temporarily taken off the air as crews continue their work in the area.
