Residents encouraged to purchase their tickets as Split the Pot Lottery jackpot reaches more than $500K

Albertans only have two more days to purchase their tickets for the Split the Pot Lottery, supporting dozens of hospital and healthcare foundations around the province, including some in the Peace Country.

Through their ticket purchase, players will directly support local hospital foundations while having the chance to win big as the pot continues to grow.

Thirteen winners will split the jackpot 50/50 with the 30 hospital foundations and partners involved. One winner will take home 60 per cent of the payout, two will equally split 20 per cent, and another 10 will equally split the remaining 20 per cent.

Winning isn’t the only way to support though, as participants can choose to direct the proceeds from their ticket purchase to their local hospital foundation.

The total pot sits around half a million dollars as of November 12th, meaning just over $250K is up for grabs.

In the Grande Prairie region, participants can choose to direct the proceeds from their ticket sales to the Fairview Health Complex Foundation, the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital Foundation, the Hythe Nursing Home Foundation, and others.
