Hythe man among 13 Split the Pot Lottery winners

Alberta’s first Split the Pot Lottery, in support of 30 hospital foundations around the province, has announced 13 winners, sharing a grand total of $298,525 in prize winnings.

According to lottery officials, the final jackpot soared to $597K, which they call a “more than healthy” figure for its winners and the participating hospital and healthcare foundations.

By purchasing a ticket, participants directly contributed to nearly $300K in funding to be distributed to several hospital foundations across Alberta, including some in the Grande Prairie region.

Annette K. from Drayton Valley took home the grand prize of $179K, while Donna B. from St. Albert and Michael P. from Calgary split the second-place pot.
