There’s snow place like home: Grande North Winter Festival promises frosty fun in 2025

The Grande North Winter Festival is returning to Grande Prairie, and residents can enjoy the festivities from January 10th to the 12th at three downtown locations.

Bonnetts Energy Centre will continue its role as the regional hub for entertainment during the festival. It will host several activities throughout the event including- ice gardens, ice carving demonstrations, interactive ice carving, snowball targets, and live entertainment in the Bowes.

The facility will also offer ticketed activities for kids aged 12 and up, at a cost of $12 per day, or $22 for the entire weekend.

Meanwhile, the Montrose Cultural Centre will offer a variety of festival-specific outdoor activities throughout the weekend including a live DJ, skating, the Aquatera Ice Slide, a snow maze, and more. All activities are free to attend.

Nature and the festival will collide at Muskoseepi Park with several outdoor activities such as a skate party on the pond with music, horse and wagon rides, and maple taffy. All activities at Muskoseepi are free to attend and participate in.
