Some Grande Prairie roads closed as police respond to several traffic collisions

The Grande Prairie RCMP is on scene attending several vehicle collisions in the area of Range Road 63 and 116th Street.

The road has been closed from Highway 43X in the north to 104th Avenue in the south as emergency crews work to reopen it.

Police suggest ice could be a factor and drivers are asked to avoid the area and instead use alternative routes.

The RCMP says an update is expected whenever more information becomes available.
