The Fairview RCMP made two arrests thanks to “proactive patrols” throughout the community on January 9th.
According to police, while conducting patrols in Fairview, officers located two males with warrants driving a vehicle.
Friedrich Schmidt, a 30-year-old man from Fairview who was out on a release order, was arrested for a warrant for allegedly failing to comply with his release conditions from October 24th, and was additionally charged with failing to comply with his release order conditions again.
Meanwhile, 34-year-old Whitelaw resident Tyler Ellery Horne, who was also out on a release order, was arrested for two warrants for allegedly failing to comply with release order conditions from October 18th and September 25th of last year. Police also charged him with failing to comply with his release order conditions again.
Both men were brought before a justice of the peace, and remain in custody with court dates set for January 13th at the Alberta Court of Justice in Peace River.
