Albertans encouraged to secure their Split the Pot Lottery tickets as pot climbs to $340K

Albertans only have a few more days to secure their spot in the January edition of the Split the Pot Lottery.

Residents have until January 16th at 11:59 p.m. to purchase their Split the Pot Lottery tickets for the chance to be one of 13 winners who will bring home a piece of the growing payout, which has now reached more than $340K.

The total pot is split 50/50 between the dozens of participating hospital and healthcare foundations and 13 winners. When the winners are announced, one will take home 60 per cent of the payout, two will split 20 per cent of the payout, while a further 10 will split the remaining 20 per cent.

Additionally, when someone purchases a ticket for Split the Pot, they can choose which foundation will receive the proceeds from their purchase, or if they wish, there is an option to support all participating foundations.

In the fall, the lottery reached a jackpot of just under $600K and gave 50 per cent to 13 winners, including Hythe local Dennis F., who won $5,970 after being announced as one of ten players who split the third-place prize.

Tickets are available online priced at one for $15, 25 for $25, 100 for $50, and 400 for $100. Each ticket sold will contribute to fundraising efforts to advance patient care for all participating foundations.
