The Grande Prairie Fire Department is on scene at a house fire in a residence along 102nd Avenue, north of the downtown core.
The entire road has been closed in both directions to allow emergency crews to operate safely. A GPFD ladder truck, water truck, and pickup are on the scene, along with several Peace Officers to maintain the closure.
The GPFD has yet to release an official statement regarding any injuries or further damages; however, as of 12:50 p.m., no EMS crews were on the scene.
