Aquatera offering holiday recycling tips

Aquatera wants to enable Grande Prairie residents to do as much recycling as possible this holiday season with some tips on how to maximize the blue bag curbside collection program. There is no limit to how many blue bags can be left on the curb on collection day, and those bags can be filled with everything from gift wrap, plastics #1 to #7, large flat boxes from appliances, and cardboard toy boxes that have all plastic and ties removed.

Styrofoam can not be collected from the curb, but can be taken to the Eco Centre instead, along with electronics from small appliances to televisions and computers. Aquatera customers are also encouraged to take advantage of blue bag drop off which can be done at no cost over the holidays.

Early in the new year Aquatera will also roll out their annual curbside Christmas tree collection program.
