A cyclist was seriously injured when they were hit by a vehicle near the Grande Prairie Airport Friday night. The collision happened around 10:30 p.m. on Highway 43 at Range Road 65 as both parties were heading westbound.
The cyclist was a 34 year old man who was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the car, a 33 year old man, was not injured.
RCMP notes that road and weather conditions were poor at the time, and the accident is still under investigation.
