A freezing rain warning has been issued for the Grande Prairie – Beaverlodge – Valleyview region. Environment Canada says freezing rain is expected and already happening in some areas.
As temperatures rise today, the precipitation will change to rain, which should end later this afternoon. Highways, roads and sidewalks could get icy and slippery so be extra careful.
