Road work begins in Royal Oaks

There will be a few areas being worked on in the Royal Oaks area starting Sunday. The 2016 Road Rehabilitation program has 105th Street from 116th Avenue to North of 125th Avenue effected. Royal Oaks Drive from 105th to 108th Street will also be worked on as well.

Wapiti Gravel Suppliers will be working on sidewalks and curbs as well as road repair. Minor storm sewer system repair, pavement surface placement and reclamation is also being done.

STarting Monday, there will be work started on 100th Avenue from Landing Drive to Carriage Lane.

The City would like to remind drivers to obey 30 km/h speed limits around workers and that there could be single lane traffic in those areas during construction.
