The Peace region’s excellence in the forestry industry has been recognized by the Alberta Forest Products Association.
Both the Canfor sawmill in Grande Prairie and Peace Country Ventures in Peace River were handed Health and Safety Excellence Awards for 2015 at the association’s annual awards dinner last Thursday. The health and safety awards are given to companies who are superior in injury reduction, audit results, and on-the-job performance.
