UPDATE: Snowfall warning increases for Hinton and Whitecourt areas

UPDATE: Environment Canada has increased the snowfall warning. The areas of Whitecourt, Hinton and Grande Cache can expect up to 20 centimetres of snow that should taper off into Friday.

After a lot of the snow has melted in the peace country, Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warnings for scattered parts of the region. They say that the Fox Creek area is expecting around 10 to 15 centimetres of snow overnight April 12th into Thursday. It should taper off into Friday.

EC also says that a weather system is moving into Alberta bringing snow. Whitecourt, Hinton and Grande Cache areas could expect from 10 to 15 centimetres of snow.

They say to be mindful of travel conditions as weather can change quickly.
