Grande Prairie first urban municipality in Alberta to reach $500,000 level of support

Tomorrow’s Municipal Government Day celebrations at Muskoseepi Park will kick off with a special recognition ceremony.

STARS Air Ambulance will unveil the placing of the city’s logo on their fleet of helicopters.

The city earned that distinction after surpassing the $500,000 level of support for STARS, becoming the first urban municipality in Alberta to reach that mark.

STARS personnel will also provide tours of the aircraft after the announcement, which will take place at 3:45 in the field behind the Muskoseepi Park pavilion.
