Sexsmith seniors' garden project nets federal money

A project aimed at promoting social activities for seniors in Sexsmith is receiving financial assistance from the Federal Government. Peace River M-P Chris Warkentin says the town is receiving 19,600 dollars for their Sunset Homes Seniors’ Garden Project.
“That involves the rehabilitation of the garden as well as the purchase of some new supplies and equipment there for seniors to enjoy.”
The money comes from the Federal New Horizons for Seniors Program.
