Grande Prairie RCMP are looking for witnesses to a stabbing in College Park early Sunday morning. Police say they responded to the alley behind Maddhatters and the Fas Gas on 100th Avenue and 105th Street around 1 a.m.
They found one man who had been stabbed in a fight with another. The victim was taken to hospital by ambulance and treated for serious but non-life threatening injuries. It’s believed no one else was hurt.
The suspect had left in a vehicle before officers arrived. RCMP are still investigating and ask anyone who may have seen what happened to contact the detachment or Crime Stoppers.
