Hoopla Digital media now accessible through Peace libraries

If you have a card from a local library in your wallet, you’re now able to stream thousands of albums, movies, and TV shows all from your phone or tablet.

Peace Library System has joined forces with Hoopla Digital to provide a digital library to its members.

Director Linda Duplessis says it’s another move to get in touch with the mobile generation.

“Libraries are not going away from books or physical DVDs; there’s still a demand for that, but what libraries are trying to do is keep up with the newer ways of doing things and still offer what they’ve traditionally offered.”

She also hopes to bring in new members to the 45 libraries in the Peace.

Once you have a card, it’s easy to sign up on your local library’s website.

Since it’s all digital, there’s no waiting list and no late fees.
