Only one returning councillor in Hythe

Village of Hythe council has undergone almost a complete makeover. The only returning councillor this year is Lyle Sipe, who unofficially received 59 votes in Monday’s municipal election.

That was the lowest vote total of all five councillors elected. Brian Peter saw the most with 100, followed by Bill Guise, Craig Hewitt and Ed Smith.

Fellow incumbent Nadine Adolf fell just short with 51 votes. Larry Pasaluko received 38.
