Muskoseepi Park New Year’s Eve fireworks cancelled

Due to the continuing extreme cold the City of Grande Prairie has called off the New Year’s Eve fireworks display. They say the indoor activities scheduled for the First Footing New Year’s Eve in the Ernie Radbourne Pavilion will go ahead as planned.

The city also says they will look at the forecast for Monday and are considering going ahead with the fireworks at 7:00 p.m. January 1. The city says to watch the Muskoseepi Park Facebook page for updates.
