Fort St. John Flyers take NPHL west division playoffs

The Grande Prairie Athletics are out of the North Peace Hockey League playoffs. The senior men’s team came out of the west division round-robin with a record of two wins and three losses, tying the Dawson Creek Canucks.

The Fort St. John Flyers came out undefeated with five wins and will move on to face the east division champion in the finals. A round-robin was needed for the west division as only three cities iced teams this season.

The Flyers will face either the High Prairie Regals or Falher Pirates in the playoff finals. Each won their semi-final series 4-1 against the Grimshaw Huskies and Manning Comets respectively.

Falher leads the east division final two games to none. The NPHL Final will begin March 3rd in Fort St. John.
