Crosslink Leaseholds buys County Sportsplex naming rights

The County Sportsplex in Clairmont has a new name.

Crosslink Leaseholds has purchased the naming rights for the building, making it the Crosslink County Sportsplex.

The deal will see $540,000 dollars paid over the next ten years, with an option for renewal.

Crosslink President Abe Neufeld says they’d been interested in getting involved since the facility was getting built.

“We’ve negotiated for a while for that. It’s a regional sportsplex, and we’d like to have our company affiliated with that; the image and what they look after is kind of the same thing.”

The company develops land and residential housing, as well as industrial properties.

County Reeve Leanne Beaupre says they’re happy to have the name on their facility, adding it’s an investment into the quality of life for people across the region.

The new name is official as of the start of September, and will be included in all marketing materials.
The signs for the building have already been ordered.
