Flooding in Muskoseepi Park on April 29, 2018, Erica Fisher
Muskoseepi Park will stay closed for at least three to four days. The latest update from the Grande Prairie Regional Emergency Partnership says it won’t reopen until all of the water recedes and a damage assessment is done.
The public is asked to stay away from the Bear Creek corridor and reservoir and to not cross any barricades. Many paths are under water and the creek banks and slopes are unstable.
The melt is expected to continue this week. GPREP is providing regular updates.
