Transit Route 4 to detour around intersection closure

The closure of the intersection at 102 Street and 100 Avenue will mean more changes to bus routes. Starting Tuesday, Route 4 will also have to temporarily detour to get through downtown.

Leaving the Towne Centre Mall for Grande Prairie Regional College, the bus will head north on 99 Street, turn left to go west on 101 Avenue, turn to go north on 100 Street, go west on 102 Avenue, go south on 102 Street, and turn right to go west on 101 Avenue. From there, it will use the lane to the west of St. Paul’s United Church to get onto 100 Avenue.

Bus stop #400 will not be used during the closure, which is estimated to run for three weeks. Detours are already in place for Route 2.
