Clairmont waterline installation underway

Work has started installing a new waterline in Clairmont. Once in place, the $2.5 million Hawker Waterline will service industrial development in the east section of the County north and south of Highway 43 from Crossroads Industrial Park to the Richie Brothers area.

Currently, contractors are working along part of 156 Avenue in the Crossroads South area. At times, there may be partial road closures and lane reductions between 97 Street and Range Road 55. That should take until late October to finish.

The County of Grande Prairie says work is being done in phases, heading east from 97 Street. Drivers are asked to watch for crews and flag people.
