Operations have shut down at Grande Prairie’s Weyerhaeuser mill for the next two weeks.
It’s the first shutdown since they switched to an 18 month maintenance schedule last April.
700 contractors will be on the site doing inspections and cleaning that can’t happen when the facility is running.
Operations will start again on October 2nd.
