108 Avenue to close east of 98 Street for new rail tracks

Traffic won’t be able to use part of 108 Avenue later this week. It will be closed just east of 98 Street Wednesday and Thursday.

CN Rail will be installing new tracks and then the City will be paving the area. It’s expected to reopen Thursday night.

The closure will also affect transit routes 1, 3, and St. Joe’s AM. The buses will be detouring using the entrance to the hospital on 105 Avenue and 97 Street by the EMS station.
