Debolt house fire considered arson

It’s believed a house fire in Debolt was set on purpose. RCMP responded to the home on Township Road 720 around 12:30 p.m. on October 15th and Debolt Fire and Rescue spent several hours trying to put the flames out.

Police say they were told that two people were seen running away from the home before the fire was reported. It’s now being investigated as a case of arson.

Anyone with information on the crime is asked to contact Grande Prairie RCMP or Crime Stoppers to remain anonymous.
