Two vying for Wembley council seat

There will be a race to fill the vacant seat on Wembley’s town council. Two people have thrown their hats in the ring to replace Councillor Nicholas McDonald, who resigned in September.

The candidates for the byelection are Wembley residents Jessica Guimond and Robin Herrington. Their names will be on the ballot when residents go to the polls on November 20th.

The voting station will be at the Wembley Town Office from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The rest of council was acclaimed in the 2017 municipal election.
