Grande Prairie has broken a second weather record in less than a week. Environment Canada recorded wind gusts of 71 kilometres per hour Sunday.
That unofficially bests the previous November 18th wind gust record of 69 kilometres per hour set in 1971. A rainfall record was also set Thursday when 4.8 millimetres fell at the Grande Prairie Airport.
