Grande Prairie and Peace River are gearing up to host a pair of provincial hockey championships in the upcoming weeks.
This weekend the Peace River Mustings play host to Okotoks, Edson and Strathcona as part of a round robin tournament at the Baytex Energy Centre for a place in the provincial finals at the end of the month.
Grande Prairie will welcome the best in midget female elite players at the end of the month – with the midget elite storm taking part in a 5 team round robin over the March 29-31st weekend.
