People reminded to lock car doors after break-ins in Sexsmith, Clairmont

People are being reminded to make sure that their car doors are locked. This comes after Grande Prairie Rural RCMP says it received numerous reports of vehicle break-ins and stolen items in Sexsmith and Clairmont.

The public is being asked to remember to lock their car doors, not leave their vehicles running and to ensure valuable items are out of sight or completely removed from the vehicle.

Police say they are continuing to investigate the incidents. Anyone with information on any of the thefts in Sexsmith or Clairmont is asked to call Grande Prairie RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
