Muskoseepi Park skating pond now open

The outdoor skating pond in Muskoseepi Park is now open for the winter.

Muskoseepi Park Customer Service Manager Chad Cronk says recent weather conditions have been excellent for both sufficient ice depth and a smooth skating surface.

The pond is located on the west side of the park pavillion and for safety reasons, hockey is not allowed on it.

So far three other outdoor rinks are open for public use, at Alexander Forbes, Montrose Junior High, and Swanavon schools.
