Muskoseepi Park senior kids’ playground reopens

Children can now play on the senior kids’ playground at Muskoseepi Park. The new accessible and inclusive playground officially opened to the on August 22nd.

It features 620 square meters of rubber tile and incorporates the existing climbing wall. A separate area with swings has also been built.

The playground initially closed after Canada Day Long Weekend in 2018 after reaching the end of its 20-year life cycle. The city originally said it would be finished on August 20th, 2019. The budget for the project was $700,000.
