MD of Greenview names new Regional Fire Chief

The Municipal District of Greenview has named Wayne Brown as its new Regional Fire Chief.

Brown has spent the last 35 years with fire services across Alberta, including time most recently with the Calgary Coordinated Safety Response Team and Internal Safety Response Unit.

“We are looking forward to welcoming Regional Fire Chief Brown to Greenview, to bring continued growth and excellence to our fire service,” said Reeve Dale Smith. “His strong leadership skills and municipal experience will be an asset to the Municipal District of Greenview.”

The MD of Greenview currently has over 100 volunteer firefighters and staff spread out across three stations.
