UPDATE: ATCO Electric now expects power to be restored around 5 p.m.
1,731 customers are without power in and around Clairmont according to ATCO Electric’s outage map. The map says power was lost around 11:30 a.m. on Sunday.
The cause of the outage is not known at this time. Crews are currently working to get the power back on. The estimated time of restoration is sitting at 2 p.m.
