Known Grande Prairie drug house boarded up

ALERT’s Safer Communities and Neighbourhoods team has boarded up a Grande Prairie drug house.

The property at 11002 94 Street has been fenced off and its locks changed, after reports that it has plagued the surrounding Mountview neighbourhood and next door playground for years with drug activity and related violence.

Police have been called there 50 times, gun shots were reported in October, and stolen property and drugs found in a search in November.

Another problem home at 12613 105 Street was shut down by SCAN in June 2013.

The property’s owners and tenants will be kept out for 90 days.
