Some of Canada’s best curlers are in Grande Prairie this weekend for the 4th Annual Pomeroy Prairie Showdown.
The first draws are today at 5 and 9 p.m. and things will get started again Friday morning at 8:30.
Some of the big names competing for the 100-thousand dollar purse this year include Mike McEwan, Niklas Edin, Kevin Koe, Jeff Stoughton, Val Sweeting, Rachel Homan and Heather Nedohin.
Tickets are $5 dollars draw, $10 for a day pass, or $25 for the whole event.

The final match ups will be held Sunday Afternoon.
