Home & Garden Show returning in April for the first time since 2019

The Grande Prairie Home & Garden Show is returning in 2022, after being cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic for the last two years.

Organizer Alina Bulmer says now that things are in motion she can’t wait for the date to finally come.

“We’re super excited and the feedback for this year has been phenomenal, in terms of hosting a show, running a show, and even just being a part of a show. We’re definitely looking forward to it,” she says.

The group is just happy to bring a full Home and Garden Show to Grande Prairie. Bulmer hopes to offer interesting activities for everyone.

“As of now, we are in the pre-stages of planning and hoping to have a show for all ages. We’ll have anything from home design to landscaping, to getting ready for the fall and pretty much anything related to home,” she says.

While there are attractions available for people attending the event, Bulmer says that planning is underway for different experts to be there to answer a wide variety of questions.

“Insurances companies, realtors, and other people will be there to name a few. We will also have local businesses and out-of-town businesses on hand at the show,” she says.

The event will run from April 22nd-24th at the TARA Centre in Evergreen Park. Tickets are $8 for general admission, $5 for seniors, while kids 12 and under can attend for free.
