Kirk Sutherland of Grande Prairie has been named the winner of the 2022 Guy Weadick Award by the Calgary Stampede.
The award is presented to a chuckwagon or rodeo competitor who “best embodies what the cowboy stands for and who best typifies the spirit of the Calgary Stampede.”
In a social media post, the Calgary Stampede added that they couldn’t think of anyone more deserving than him.
