Watermain flushing may mean cloudy tap water

You may notice some cloudiness in your water at some point this summer. Aquatera will be flushing watermains to improve water quality and pressure, as well as keep them clear of corrosion and sediment.

Tap water might seem cloudy for two to three minutes after the lines are flushed, but Aquatera says customers should just run their taps until the cloudiness is gone.

All watermains in the northern subdivisions as far west as Royal Oaks, east to Carriage Lane, north to Albinati Industrial and south to Hillside, Mountview, and Crystal Heights should be done this year.
