Police asking for public’s help in Grande Cache homicide investigation

The Alberta RCMP Major Crimes Unit is asking for the public’s help in identifying the driver of a vehicle believed to be involved in the death of 52-year-old Robert Zibauer.

Poluce are looking to identify the driver of 2018 Hyundai Tucson seen at the Hinton Shell Gas Station between 3 and 3:30 a.m. on February 18th.

According to RCMP, it received a report of a deceased person on Stern Crescent in Grande Cache around 9 a.m. on February 21st. Officers located the deceased, who police have since identified as Zibauer, when they arrived on scene.

Anyone who can identify the driver or who has other information is urged to call the police or Crime Stoppers.
