For the second straight year a block party will take over downtown Grande Prairie, with Experience Grande Prairie set for September 1st.
The block party, which will include food trucks, a beer garden, vendors, and activities for kids and adults alike, will also feature CCMA award-nominee and country music star Aaron Goodvin of Spirit River.
“The City of Grande Prairie is excited to welcome the community back to Downtown Grande Prairie for an evening of outdoor live music in a block party style.” says Mayor Jackie Clayton. “We hope to see many community members join us with their families and friends on September 1st for this end-of-summer celebration.”
The event will run from 3 to 11 p.m., and will be in the area of 101 Avenue, between 100 Street and 102 Street.
