The Grande Prairie Brewers have fallen just short of the Wheatbelt Baseball League Championship. The baseball team lost 3-2 to the Rycroft Rage in game five Thursday night.
The Brewers had a stellar season, finishing in first place with a 12 – 3 record. They swept the Grimshaw Huskies in three games in the semis. Meanwhile, the Rage beat Peace River to make the finals.
